We are currently looking for a Microsoft System Administrator to join our team.

 

Job Description:

  • The Microsoft Systems Administrator is responsible for provisioning, deploying, administering, monitoring current Microsoft Windows Server and Services platforms including cloud technologies.
  • The Microsoft Systems Administrator must be highly technical and willing to continue to grow in skillset.
  • The successful candidate will be a self-starter with an expert foundation in Microsoft operating systems

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Primary focus of the position is supporting the Microsoft infrastructure for test and production applications.
  • Responsible for servers, F5 load balancers, SAN, cloud and virtual system environments.
  • Expected to build, maintain and document our intel based infrastructure and associated storage components.
  • Will handle acquisition, configuration, monitoring and preventative maintenance.
  • Daily responsibilities include supporting application and operation teams with real-time production/test environments. 

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience.
  • 5+ years direct systems administration work experience preferred.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to utilize interpersonal skills to work with team members and business units within the company.
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly terminology.
  • Dell chassis system experience.
  • Avamar – Backup/Restore
  • Unity/Data domain
  • Disaster Recovery Planning/Documenting/Implementing
  • Extensive experience required working with VMware virtual environments utilizing vSphere, Operations Manager, and vMotion.
  • Proficient in Nutanix administration.
  • Experience with Cloud services and highly available solutions AWS/Azure/Azure-Stack/Nutanix is a plus.
  • Microsoft Exchange environment on-premise and Office365 cloud.
  • Working technical knowledge creating and editing PowerShell, VBScript, and batch files.to efficiently perform and/or automate systems administration tasks.
  • Must be able to work on call as needed to support business needs.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience.
